Multilayer perceptron artificial neural networks-based model for credit card fraud detection

Nowadays, <span>credit card fraud has emerged as a major problem. People are becoming increasingly using credit cards to pay for their transactions, it become more popular and essential in our lives. Fraudsters developing new strategies techniques over time, is not easy humans manually check out all transactions. The cost of fraudulent transactions significant without prevention mechanisms rising. Finding the best methodology detect crucial asset industry reduce financial loss. Artificial neural networks (ANN) technique considered one effective that proved its efficiency detecting with high precision minimum cost. In this paper, we propose multilayer perceptron (MLP) ANN-based model solution improve accuracy detection process. performance measured based on precision, sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, F-measure, area under curve (AUC) root mean square error (RMSE). Moreover, illustrate results these measures descriptive analysis. Experimental have shown proposed efficient does transactions.</span>
